Ingredients
- 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 2 1/2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt (or your preferred seasoning)
Instructions
- Dry the chickpeas: Spread the chickpeas on paper towels and pat them dry. Let them air dry for 10 minutes or up to an hour.
- Toss with oil: In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with 1 1/2 teaspoons of oil.
- Air fry:
Place the chickpeas in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 11-14 minutes, shaking the basket every 4 minutes. - Season: Transfer the chickpeas back to the bowl and add the remaining 1 teaspoon of oil and the seasoning. Toss to coat.

- My Go-To Blend: Combine 1 1/4 teaspoons smoked paprika, 3/4 teaspoons ground chili powder, 3/4 teaspoons ground cumin, 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
