Cabbage:

Instructions
Prepare the Cabbage:
- Core the cabbage and remove any dirty leaves.
- Simmer the cabbage in a large pot of water for 15 minutes.
- Carefully lift the cabbage out and let it cool.
- Peel 12 large, tender cabbage leaves from the head.
- Trim any tough ribs from the leaves.
Make the Filling:
- Cook the rice according to package directions.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan.
- Add the ground beef, egg, and spices to the rice.

Assemble the Rolls:
- Place 2 tablespoons of filling in the center of a cabbage leaf.
